Marketing Strategy & Consulting

Strategy first. Then everything else gets easier.

Most marketing problems are not channel problems. They are clarity problems: unclear goals, budgets set by habit, vendors measured on their own terms. We start with the business, not the media plan, and build a strategy your team can execute and evaluate with confidence.

The challenge

What usually stands in the way.

Spend without a thesis

Budgets roll forward year to year and nobody can say with conviction which dollars are working.

Vendor noise

Several partners each report success in their own dashboards, and the numbers never reconcile.

Marketing and sales out of step

Leads are generated faster than they are handled, or handled in ways that waste the investment.

Too many tools

Technology was bought to solve problems that process should have solved first.

Capabilities

What marketing strategy & consulting includes.

Marketing strategy development
A written plan tied to revenue goals, audiences, positioning and the specific channels that earn a place in it.
Competitive analysis
How competitors show up in search, social, advertising and reputation, and where the openings are.
Budget planning
Allocation by objective, with clear reasoning for each line and agreed thresholds for when to shift money.
Campaign performance analysis
An independent read of what your current programs are actually producing, in plain English.
Marketing technology consulting
Evaluation of CRM, analytics and advertising platforms so tools fit your process, not the other way around.
Business growth strategy
Where growth should come from: new audiences, better retention, higher close rates, or new lines of business.
Marketing operations
Reporting rhythms, vendor accountability, and the internal routines that keep a plan on track.

Our approach

How we put it to work.

  1. Step 1

    Listen

Leadership interviews, data review and a candid look at what has and has not worked.

  2. Step 2

    Diagnose

We separate symptoms from causes and identify the few decisions that matter most.

  3. Step 3

    Plan

A prioritized roadmap with owners, budgets and measures of success.

  4. Step 4

    Steward

Ongoing advisory and accountability so the plan survives contact with a busy quarter.

Outcomes

What a well-run program changes.

We do not promise specific numbers before we understand your business. These are the outcomes our work is designed to produce.

  • A shared definition of success across ownership, management and vendors
  • Budgets allocated by evidence rather than habit
  • Reporting that reconciles to real business results
  • Fewer, better-aligned marketing partners and tools

Questions

Frequently asked.

Do you only consult, or do you also execute?

Both. Many clients start with strategy and then ask us to execute some or all of it. Others keep their existing vendors and retain us to provide direction and accountability.

How long does a strategy engagement take?

It depends on the size and complexity of the organization. A single-location business moves faster than a multi-rooftop group. We scope timing together after an initial conversation.

Will you work with our current agencies?

Yes. We are comfortable acting as the strategic lead that coordinates other partners, and we do it without territorial politics.

What do you need from us to start?

Access to current reporting, a sense of your goals, and time with the people who make decisions. We handle the rest.
